Youth Enrichment
Safe social activities, leadership-building experiences, and opportunities that encourage confidence and growth.
Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Our Mission
To provide education, enrichment, and safe social activities that promote unity, empowerment, and the development of future leaders.
For young people. For families. For community.
Our story
JTSA Memorial Fund was created in loving memory of Javaré Takai.
What started as a youth basketball tournament and family day honoring Javaré’s love for the game and his community has evolved into so much more. That family-led effort has grown into a community movement expanding its reach through service, partnership, and opportunity.
Every gathering, giveaway, and partnership carries the same purpose: create spaces where community can come together and young people can move forward with greater confidence, stability, and support.

See how we serveWhat we do
We meet practical needs while creating experiences that bring people together.
Safe social activities, leadership-building experiences, and opportunities that encourage confidence and growth.
Book bags, holiday gifts, food boxes, and seasonal support that help families meet immediate needs.
Free, welcoming experiences where children can play, families can connect, and local resources are within reach.
Collaboration with local organizations and families to deepen reach, share resources, and strengthen community response.
JTSA in community
Our work comes to life when young people compete, families gather, and volunteers turn ordinary days into lasting memories.

We believe lasting change starts when people feel that their community has not forgotten them.
Four years of showing up
Our impact is measured in more than items distributed or events held. It lives in the child who arrives prepared for school, the family whose holiday feels lighter, and the community partner who finds a trusted place to connect with neighbors.
Growing with intention
JTSA is committed to building a stronger continuum of community-based services for young people and families. Growth will be guided by need, responsible planning, measurable outcomes, and trusted partnerships.
Spaces where young people experience structure, belonging, accountability, and encouragement.
Practical life skills, educational and employment pathways, and individualized support that strengthen readiness for adulthood.
Resource navigation, referrals, and coordinated partnerships designed to help support continue beyond a single event or program.
Programs developed in phases, evaluated for impact, and strengthened through community voice and sustainable funding.
